Looking back at CAPSYC 1: research outside the laboratory

CAPSYC's first conference, “Methods in psycholinguistics: Doing research out of the laboratory”, was held on 27 and 28 July 2023 at the Faculty of Letters and Human Sciences.

The programme brought together Caroline Rowland (Max Planck Institute), Heike Behrens (Basel), Titia Benders (Amsterdam), Kamil Ud Deen (Hawai'i), Rowena Garcia and Natalie Boll-Avetisyan (Potsdam), alongside Cameroonian and Ivorian researchers working on Tupuri, Basaá, autism, cerebral palsy and functional literacy.

The second day closed with two parallel workshops — naturalistic and experimental methods — followed by the presentation of participation certificates.
